About the Artist. Pat works primarily in watercolor. Her fascination with the medium, combined with her studies and travels, has given her a unique lens to interpret the world, especially eastern Kentucky, her home. The beauty of the hills, valleys and rivers inspires the expression of an artist and the concern of an environmentalist. Taking the time to walk paths in the woods and fields, float down the eternal streams, and study the “wild things” brings the realization of the fragility and preciousness of this wondrous place. Pat brings the spontaneity and freshness of the medium to the challenge and intensity of her subjects. She has made a commitment to the University Press of Kentucky for the illustration of Plants of Appalachia, a children's book, written by Linda Pack. She lives and works in northern Madison County in the home and studio she and her husband Alan built. They grow gardens, float on the Kentucky River and look for the occasional adventure.
My name is Lana Soens. I'm on the board of the Richmond Area Arts Council, Gallery on Main and the Madison County Democratic Women. I am also a small business owner, Queen's Closet, in Richmond Kentucky. I support many organizations in Richmond. The Gallery on Main is a big part of my heart, as the Arts are a great part of who I am. The Gallery on Main represents local artists young, and mature, local, regional and national! I am proud to be a part of this organization.

Deep Earth Legacy
Ms. Thompson earned a baccalaureate and master’s degree in art education and obtained her Rank 1 in art education. She has taught art to students in grades K-12 and to students at Berea College. Four years ago, Ms. Thompson created a jewelry business, Deep Earth Legacy, participating in juried festivals. She also creates commissioned pieces for customers.
Ms. Thompson is a board member of several years with the Gallery on Main in Richmond, Kentucky. She coordinates the annual Madison County High School Show that is sponsored by Gallery on Main.
Ms. Thompson creates necklaces and earrings with treasures from the earth using fossils, Kentucky Agate, semi-precious stones, pearls, and glass beads. Jewelry creations highlight the natural beauty formed through materials such as petrified wood, lava, jasper, and agate.
Some fossils used in jewelry creations include ammonites, coral and squid. Another unusual material used is tektite, a by-product of meteorites coming through the earth’s atmosphere.
Ms. Thompson’s artisan jewelry celebrates the earth that sustains us all.

Hi!, I’m John Morgan.
I’m a retired game designer, who in 1989 had the luck to create
the #1 arcade game in the world: “Ivan Stewart’s Super
OFFROAD”. I’ve since retired in Richmond, Kentucky, to enjoy
my lifelong passion of photography. I love taking photos of birds,
flowers, animals, landscapes, and people. I print my own
mounted photos on fine art paper and custom frame them in any
size. My works have been on gallery display since 2020. I can
